VICTORVILLE, Calif.— Starting Wednesday March 20, 2024, the San Bernardino County Department of Child Support Services (DCSS) will host facilitators to provide free legal advice to the community. Attorneys, having experience in family law will be on hand, on a first come first serve basis, every following Wednesday at the DCSS branch, 15400 Civic Dr., Victorville, CA 92392, to answer legal questions surrounding child support cases.

This program is vital to bring those who have family law experience to San Bernardino residents, at no cost, in an underserved area. These family law facilitators can lend support and clarify matters for families seeking answers to child support litigation. A facilitator can explain the child support process and help file a response to DCSS. If you are considering self-representation, they can assist in your preparation process. Exploring settlement opportunities, pleadings, as well as questions regarding how to properly fill out documents.

“We are excited to have an opportunity to collaborate with family law facilitators to bring services to the Victorville office” said, Chief Attorney Nicole Caldera.
